If you live in the Lake Huron area in Michigan, you might want to consider a Tawas honeymoon package. This lovely town offers plenty of outdoor activities such as fishing, hiking, skiing and camping, depending on the timing. While it’s not tropical, a Tawas honeymoon is a great option if you don’t want to travel far away from home. Plus, if you choose a honeymoon resort in Tawas, you will get all the “star” treatment that you would get elsewhere, only closer to home.
As mentioned before, honeymoons are what you make of them. You could tell everyone that you both went to Aruba but instead stay home.
