Of course, these religious ceremonies all differed because each culture was and is different. And because each culture and heritage around the world is distinct, there are many kinds of religious ceremonies in the world.

The ancient Mayan religious ceremonies were as vast and different as an Aztec religious ceremony. While the true Mayans died many generations ago, you can still find Maya religious ceremonies still re-enacted in various countries like Mexico or Guatemala.

Of course, today you will see the many different religious ceremonies and how their particular culture’s past has influenced what they do today. Wars have been fought over religion and that continues to happen today. That is why some people turn to inspirations religious ceremonies. These are more non-denominational than anything else.
