Choose to have a destination wedding. If a huge turn out is not a concern, wedding planning for some place other, can be ideal. IF the bride and groom have a dream destination for their wedding, picking an exotic place to get married is not out of the question. In fact, if the guest list is sparse, getting married somewhere else may be a lot cheaper than renting a church.

Cutting corner wherever possible can take the edge off of wedding planning. While it may be convenient to have wedding planners plan the wedding, it will end up costing a lot more. Thus, in the long run, that convenience is going to cause a major headache. Do as much wedding planning on your own as possible. Read wedding magazines and do some research online about wedding planning. This is a good way to get information without having to pay for it.

Wedding planning should be done early on. As soon as a date is in place it is wise to begin planning. Find out where the wedding is going to be at and build the rest of the accommodation around that piece of information. Do not choose a reception hall that is a cross town from the wedding chapel. Try to have everything centrally located so that guests do not have to travel far.
